OC Youth and Mini Rugby

OC Rugby now has a Mini Rugby section after a very successful launch on the 18th September.

Every Sunday morning at the OC Club, just turn up and join in! Open from 10am with a prompt start at 10.30, finishing by Midday. The cost is £5 per child per session, with a portion of chips at the end (hopefully that won't spoil lunch!) and a free OC Rugby t-shirt when you first start.

The club has the full support from  the RFU and Surrey County RFU, including the local Community Rugby Coach Amy Turner, current England player with 72 international caps who played against the New Zealand All Blacks in last year's Women's Rugby World Cup Final.

OC Rugby welcomes boys and girls aged from 5 - 12, whether or not they have played rugby in any form before. Nowadays mini rugby is non-contact up to the age of 9, with tag and touch variations, and the full game is slowly and safely introduced so that the children are properly prepared by fully-qualified coaches.

Do you have a son or daughter aged 5 - 11? If so and you want to see what The Great Game is all about, in the middle of the Rugby World Cup, register your interest with JJ and come along - or just pitch up anyway, you will be very welcome.
